At Saint-Georges Doors, we use a special Select grade especially sorted as per our own request. Birch is then re-graded at every step of machining. All components are carefully inspected before the assembly of the  cabinet door.

The final inspection is made on a granite solid surface: We take all these precautions so that you will receive a trouble free product easy to install and without warping

    Specifications of the Red Birch:

We call it Red Birch because this grade is a  selection of the first grade birch chosen for their darker color, this selection comes from the boards closer to the heart of the tree. The wood is matched in order to obtain a uniform general aspect.  This grade is specically recommended  for natural finishes.

    • Color can vary from dark pink to reddish brown depending on the tree.
    • Dense wood easy to polish and to stain.
    • Commonly used for cabinet doors, mouldings, cabinetry and flooring.
