Alder royal (Red Alder)

    Scientific name: Alnus Rubra.

    The royal qualifier refers to a particular selection of wood carefully matched in factory in order to produce a relatively uniform general aspect and is recommended only for clear natural finishings.

    Grain is generally straight, with a moderately fine, uniform texture  and with a light density.

    Color: Red Alder tends to be a light tan to reddish brown; color darkens  with age.

    Commonly used in cabinetry and for the production of cabinet doors
