Maple Hard royal

Royal Maple:

Common names: Hard Maple, Rock Maple, Sugar Maple

The royal qualifier refers to a particular selection of wood carefully matched in factory in order to produce a relatively uniform general aspect and is recommended only for clear natural finishings.

What we call Royal Maple is an harmonized selection of Select Maple in which there is no mineral on the face and where the boards are matched in order to produce an overall color relatively uniform.

Color: The color ranges from nearly white, to an off-white cream color with variations of light pink and light gray depending on the origins.

Birdseyed Maple is a figure found most commonly in Hard Maple.

Grain is generally straight, but may be wavy. Has a fine, even texture.

Commonly used to make cabinet doors, flooring, cabinetry, furniture and musical instruments.
